Interventional Pain Management Outpatient Surgical Procedures

Tuesday
3:10 – 5:10 pm

Crystal Ballroom C
Convention Level
(Entrance to G2)

The injured claimant may suffer chronic pain due to an industrial accident. Historically, interventional pain procedures have focused on injection treatments only. Now, the interventional pain physician can perform spine and joint surgeries in an outpatient surgery facility which traditionally were only performed in an inpatient facility. We will examine the advantages of these procedures being performed in an outpatient setting and the typical recovery period for the injured worker. We will show attendees the newest techniques for treating sacroiliac joint instability with fusion and treating spine compression fractures with vertebral augmentation.
