This session is devoted to recognizing those claims handling entities that excelled in annual audits performed by the Florida Division of Workers’ Compensation. The Division annually conducts 50-60 audits of claims handling entities reviewing thousands of claims, and only a select few claims handling entities receive a “perfect score” with no assessed penalties for failing to meet state mandated performance measures for handling claims. This new emphasis recognizes those entities that are leaders amongst many authorized to do business in the state.
