Give Kids The World Village (GKTW) is an 89-acre, whimsical nonprofit in Central Florida that provides critically ill children and their families with magical weeklong wish vacations at no cost. Every child and his/her family is treated to accommodations, transportation, donated theme park tickets, all meals and snacks, nightly entertainment, daily gifts and more. Since 1986, GKTW has welcomed more than 177,000 wish families from all 50 states and 76 countries to laugh together, play together, and create priceless memories away from hospital stays and medical treatments. GKTW relies on the generosity of caring individuals and corporate partners to make these life-changing experiences possible. For more information, visit

Since 2012, the Workers’ Compensation Institute has supported Give Kids The World by bringing hundreds of volunteers to work in Village venues and assist with Village service projects. WCI has raised almost $500,000 for GKTW over the past 6 years! The 2021 GKTW Service Day, Gala, and Silent Auction raised $125,000 to support Give Kids The World Village!

The Gala will be from 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at the Orlando World Center Marriott and includes dinner, silent auction, and entertainment. The 2022 gala will be Mardi Gras Extravaganza themed! We will have great food, entertainment and music at the gala, plus loads of awesome items at our silent auction. The Silent Auction will have vacations, sports memorabilia, jewelry, purses and many other exciting items for you to bid on.

Entertainment: Brown Bag Brass Band

Brown Bag Brass Band is one of Central Florida’s hottest live acts. What started as a pickup band covering a last minute Mardi Gras gig, soon began delivering a horn-driven tour de force, serving the region and beyond.

Their music is rooted in appreciation for New Orleans brass band music, but also includes jazz, funk and other styles.

Since then, the b4 have firmly established itself an integral part of the live scene, characterized as loud, fast, high and generally always playing their own brand of “Good Time Party Music.”

Individual tickets are $75 each. Group tickets of 10 are $675. Click here to purchase tickets.

Brand New Friends & Family Program

Friends & Family Donations

We have a new Friends & Family Program that we are excited to introduce to the WCI family this year! Through the WCI F&F Program, individuals and companies are encouraged to create a team page to help our fundraising efforts for Give Kids The World. While the success of our event relies primarily on the generous company sponsorships received throughout the WCI industry, the F&F Program was created for the individuals and friends within each company who also wish to donate to our overall cause… $5, $10, $25, etc. Every donation counts and helps us reach our goal. Once a team page is created, a link to your team page can be shared with your “Friends & Family” to help raise money for the kids and families of the Village and WCI’s overall goal for 2022.

Give Kids The World relies on the generosity and compassion of partners like WCI and caring individuals like you, and contributions in any amount will be greatly appreciated. Those who make a contribution will receive a special thank you letter from the Village. On behalf of WCI, the Spirit to Serve Committee, Give Kids The World Village, and the countless families around the world served by this remarkable nonprofit, thank you for your consideration.
