We invite you to participate in the 2018 WCI Service Day on Saturday morning before the WCI 2018 Conference begins – August 18, 2018. This year, we will be tasked with completing various projects including “Village Beautifications” for each of the 144 villas located on property, 13 service projects, and working in venues with kids. This will be our biggest service project yet and we are extremely excited about this opportunity.
Due to limited parking at the GKTW village, all volunteers will meet at the Orlando World Center Marriott (Conference Hotel) located at – 8701 World Center Dr. Orlando, FL 32821. Please park in the Marriott parking garage (Free of charge to WCI volunteers) and make your way to the convention level bussing station. Coach buses will be provided to transport all volunteers to and from the Marriott to the GKTW village. Buses will leave from the Marriott Hotel at 7:00 a.m. and return around noon. Breakfast will be served at 6:30 a.m.
The service day is a wonderful opportunity to network with fellow workers’ compensation and insurance professionals. Thank you on behalf of the entire WCI Spirit to Serve Committee for planning to take time out of your Saturday to join us for such a worthy cause. I trust you will find it to be a most rewarding experience!
On Saturday, August 18, 2018 the Workers’ Compensation Institute will host the 5th Annual WCI Give Kids the World Dinner, Gala, and Silent Auction at the Orlando World Center Marriott. This is the perfect event to have fun and network all while serving the important purpose of raising funds for Give Kids the World.
The Gala will be from 5:00 pm – 11:00 pm at the Orlando World Center Marriott and includes a sit-down dinner, silent auction, and entertainment/carnival games. The Silent Auction will have items that will include hotel stays, sports memorabilia, jewelry, purses and many other exciting items for you to bid on.
