WCI 2023 Sneak Peek: Professional Employer Organization (PEO) Breakout

The PEO industry plays an important role helping businesses with their payroll, benefit, and insurance-related needs. For many employers, entering into a PEO arrangement is their only viable of way of securing workers’ compensation insurance and other administrative benefits. The Florida Association of Professional Employer Organizations and the National Association of Professional Employer Organizations have been long-standing partners of the conference. This year’s PEO Breakout brings together PEO and insurance executives to discuss numerous topics facing both groups.

  • Carriers and PEO Hot Topics
  • The PEO Model: A Winning Model for Claims Management
  • The Role of a Risk Manager – Part 1 and Part 2
  • Workers’ Compensation Legal and Legislative Changes Impacting PEOs

“The Professional Employer Organization industry has grown into a national presence that represents a large percentage of the payroll run by small and medium size businesses in all fifty states. Partnering with the WCI Workers’ Compensation Conference for over 20 years, the PEO industry has created a day-long program that focuses on the workers’ compensation and insurance risks within the PEO industry, which allows agents, adjusters, health care providers and lawyers the opportunity to drill down into managing the unique risks within the PEO environment. We invite anyone that wants to learn a bit more about the PEO industry to join us and to be an active participant in our interactive program!” – Abram Finkelstein, Breakout Organizer
