Grand Ballroom 8A

Healthcare systems have experienced unprecedented changes due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Tele-Medicine has become a fixture in the delivery of efficient healthcare. Now Tele-Rehab is one of the treatment tools at the forefront of these changes. While it may seem remarkable for a hands on treatment protocol to be provided through a virtual delivery system, this panel will explain how we now have another means of providing this most essential form of treatment. These industry experts will provide attendees with an understanding of the history and current state of Tele-Rehab, as well as how rehabilitation and complex rehabilitation technology (CRT) services can be delivered effectively in a remote environment. The presenters will review the effectiveness of CRT, cost, and patient satisfaction compared to traditional therapy. Come learn how Tele-Rehab will play an ever increasing role in the delivery of these services through the post-pandemic healthcare system.
