One of the most significant barriers to successful claims outcomes in workers’ compensation is effectively managing the psychosocial issues an injured worker may be experiencing that could negatively impact their recovery. In this session, our panel of experts will share how they have better identified these issues in real time by understanding critical behavioral science concepts that drive the way people think and act. They will also discuss how using tools like technology and automation to simplify the claims process significantly increases meaningful engagement with all stakeholders. Attendees will walk away from this session with the ability to recognize and help solve the psychosocial issues that injured workers face and employ best practices that humanize the claims process to drive better outcomes.
