They said it couldn’t be done, but that was so 2010! This is the latest in our series of ethical conversations prompted by the Faith Based Claims Association. The importance of faith and the freedom to express one’s faith in the workplace through employee resource groups was addressed at the WCI Prayer Breakfast in 2021. Our esteemed “been there, done that” panel tells us how it’s actually — not hypothetically — done, based on real world programs consistent with our National Workers’ Compensation Review motto: How to, by those that do! Our panel will discuss these and related issues as the industry addresses the careful balancing of worker wellbeing and the tension between individual rights, privacy, and religious freedom. The panel will discuss the connection between worker wellbeing and diversity and inclusion and the importance of employees being their authentic selves at work, including faith. Prepare to be inspired — and equipped to carry your personal flame back home!
