In the time of COVID-19, we as claim organizations have all had to respond to a series of specific obstacles: unpredictable volume changes, statutory changes with short notice and retroactive application, new requirements for coordination of information from clients, staffing issues both internally and with our clients, and medical quarantine restrictions. Looking back, how were we able to successfully respond and quickly address these challenges? What would we do differently? Where can we apply key learnings to improve our day-to-day Workers’ Compensation claim handling?
