Revisiting Alternative Dispute Resolution in the 21st Century

Wednesday
9:00 – 10:00 am

Grand Ballroom 8A
Convention Level

As the nature of the Defense Base Act (DBA) practice has evolved over time, so have the issues encountered by the parties. Despite competing interests, stakeholders – now more than ever – must find common ground to navigate the litigation process effectively and successfully. With this understanding, our breakout will reevaluate alternative dispute resolution for DBA claims for the 21st century. Speakers will discuss ideas for alternative means of resolving claims and disputes – for the benefit of all parties – given lengthened litigation, discovery and adjudication processes brought about by an increase in the volume of claims filed in recent years.
