This session will start off by providing a unique viewpoint straight from a claimants’ attorney on why employees often seek legal counsel. Case studies will be presented regarding an employee’s feelings of disconnection and perceived employer’s lack of concern, job dissatisfaction, delays with referrals, and overall company culture. Presenters will discuss key roles and responsibilities both from the employers’ and the carrier/TPA’s side in building a successful return-to-work program that keeps an injured employee connected to their employer and community rather than the claimants’ attorney. This session promises to be one of the most engaging and enlightening discussions you will hear, and we invite you to come and take a “peek behind the curtain” with us as we address these issues openly.
