The Injured Workers Inspiration (IWI) Awards were created to recognize the achievements of injured workers and their musculoskeletal physicians. Highlighting this year’s most compelling stories of medical innovation and the conquering nature of the human spirit, these case presentations will both inspire and educate. Please join us to celebrate the achievements of these remarkable patients and recognize the advances of musculoskeletal science.

Rotator Cuff Tears: Assessing Causation, Treatment Options and Expectations For Recovery

Rotator cuff anatomy and the etiology of rotator cuff tears are reviewed in this session. Additionally, a description is given as to non-operative and operative treatments, expectations for recovery and early return to work.
