WCI 2022: Session Sneak Peak
These sessions focus on the evolving medical issues surrounding the often-litigated major contributing cause element in determining compensability of a claim. Specifically, our presenters and panelists will describe claim indexing and its utility in aiding in the major contributing cause decision-making process. They will also discuss the increase prevalence of mental health issues accompanying major contributing cause and how the specialties on psychology and neuropsychology play a role in the determination of major contributing cause. The culminating session digs deeper into the relationship between COVID-19 and major contributing cause, with one of nation’s leading experts on Infectious Diseases, Paula A. Eckardt, MD.
