WCI 2022: Session Sneak Peak
The Florida Division of Workers’ Compensation will be presenting its first Award for Audit Excellence. This award will recognize a carrier who received a “perfect score” with no assessed penalties for failing to meet state-mandated performance measures for handling claims. After the award ceremony, Division officials will provide a regulatory and legislative update and insight of having a successful audit and minimizing violations. Significant activity continues to take place on issues such as fee schedules, medical reimbursement disputes, medical billing, physician dispensing, exemption eligibility, and employer compliance penalties.
